School Clinic

A qualified nurse is employed to run the school clinic where regular medical aid is provided to student who required medical attention during school hours. Student needing medical attention may be sent to the clinic by the teacher with a slip/note in the Almanac.

 

Student suffering from infectious diseases like Conjunctivitis, Dermatitis, and Scabies etc. should not be sent to school until they have fully recovered. Student suffering from chronic diseases like Asthma, Epilepsy, Rheumatic, weast Diseases etc. should be under continuous medical supervision of a specialized doctor. History of such children must be submitted in the school along with the name of medicines prescribed by the doctor.

 

Audio-Visual Education (Projector Hall)

On regular practices classes Nursery to X receive education in which they are shown educational documentaries to enhance their skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing along with the ability of thinking.

 

Social useful productive work (SUPW)/Work Experience (W.E)

As the name suggests activities under S.U.P.W are productivity oriented. Students can choose activity as per their choice. After that no changes will be permitted during the session Students are assesses as per this percentage.

Computer Education

With the boom in IT sector it is impart the basic knowledge of computer every weak student are taken to computer lab to familiarize them with software and computer languages.

Smart Classes

For effective teaching learning process the school provides computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) through the smart classes for teachers and students. The students are facilitated with their higher order thinking problems and the solutions. The students understand their formative, summative and board exams, through the smart classes.

 

Yoga, Martial Arts & Taekwondo

 

Student is provided coaching in yoga, Martial Arts & Taekwondo by well trained and experienced teachers.

Music and Dance

School offers wide variety of arts from where children can learn the art of living through music & dance.

Eco club

Depletion of the ozone layer, increase in the global warming and continuous damage to the environment by the man has raised many eyebrows. It is high time that Gen X is made aware of their disastrous consequences that they would face due to continuous harm to environment by involving them in an array of activities and making a conscious effort to stop any further damage and strengthen bond between man and nature.

 

School intends to hold following activities for this session

(i) World Earth Week celebration (ii) Environmental Quiz (iii) Debate on Climate change (iv) Anti fire cracker campaign (v) Plantation.

Newspaper in education

Introduction of Newspaper in education is yet another dimension that K.S.K has added into its curriculum. This has proved very beneficial as it not only increases their comprehension ability but also keeps them updates with the latest happenings of the world. Students from class v onward have to compulsory subscribed to the newspaper. There has been an overwhelming response and students are now regular reader both in the class room as well as in the library.

School Library

  1. To include the habit of reading, all classes are provided with a library period every week.
  2. Students are instructed to observe the following rules.
  3. Students should observe absolute silence in the library.
  4. They must come to the library ion a single line.
  5. Students are not permitted to bring their personal books or belonging in the library, Magazines of the current month should be read only in the library.
  6. Student will not be issued any reference books.
  7. The library books will be issued only for a period of one week. If delayed a fine of Rs. 5 per day will be levied.
  8. Books marked, damaged or lost will have to be replaced or compensated.
