ACADEMIC EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION

Class l-V

For Classes l-V, there will be a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), which focuses on identification of talents of the learner and empowering him with positive inputs. The whole academic session is divided into three cycles and one term end examination. In each cycle, there will be two tests for main subjects and one test for G.K. Moral Sci. and Computer for classes I -V.

Five point scale recommended by CBSE has been adopted (given below)

A* Outstanding 90%- 100%
A Excellent 75% – 89%
B Very Good 56% – 74%
C Good 35% – 55%
D Scope for improvement Below 35%

Class VI-X

According to CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation), there will be two terms in whole academic year, Term I (April to September) and Term II (October to March).

 

The Final Result will be based on the following break-up

Class-I-V-

10% of Evaluation of each cyclic (10X4=40%) +60% of Evaluation of Final Exam.

Class – VI – X-

Formative Assessment: FA-1 (10%)+FA2(10%)+FA3(10%)+FA4(PSA)10%=40%

Summative Assessment: SA-1 (30%)+SA~2(30%)=60%
